FISH BALLS



INGREDIENTS



  1. Fish (preferably white pomfret or king fish)                             1/2kg
  2. Potatoes(cooked)                                                                        2nos
  3. Onions                                                                                        1no
  4. Ginger garlic paste                                                                     1teaspn
  5. Green chillies                                                                             2-3nos
  6. Corriander and curry leaves                                                       1/2cup
  7. Salt                                                                                             1teaspn
  8. Turmeric powder                                                                        1/2tetapsn
  9. Chilli powder                                                                              1/2teaspn
  10. Pepper powder                                                                            1/2teaspn
  11. Egg                                                                                              2nos
  12. Bread crumbs                                                                               2cups
 METHOD
            Marinate the fish with salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder and keep it aside for about half an hour and fry it well and keep it aside.Now in that same oil sauté in the onions,ginger galic paste and green chillies etc.Chop up the fish finely making sure that there are no bones inside.Now mix the finely chopped fish and the potatoes with the onions and sauté well and finally add  in the chopped coriander and curry leaves.Once it has got cooled up and is ready to be held up in your palms, make small balls and dip it in the beaten egg and then in the bread crumbs and transfer them into a wok with hot oil and fry them until golden brown and serve it hot.
