ALLOO PALAK

MINT COOLER

Mint being very good for the stomach in fact good for digestion. People dont have much option with mint.They may also hesitate to have it quite often. So here is something....:  a mint drink which can be done very easily with less amount of ingredients and which are daily available back home. Mint leaves                                     3/4cup Sugar                                              2tbspn Honey                                             1teaspn Lemon juice                                    2tbspn Water                                              2cup Grind up the mint well with some water and strain it to a bowl . Add sugar,honey,lemon juice and water and mix well and serve. You can also add in crushed ice and serve chilled

I came across this dish from one of the restaurants in bangalore.I first hesitated how its gonna be,but once i had it i couldnt stop having it.The chicken pieces inside was adding an extra taste for it. At that moment i made up my mind to make it at the earliest.Yes... finally even i got it on my own table............... yeaaaahhhh Now i would like to share the recipe with all CONTENTS: Kappa(tapioca)                                         1kg Chicken                                                     1/2kg(boneless finely chopped) Onions                                                       2-3nos Shallots                                                      1cup Green chillies                                              5nos Ginger                                                        11/4tbspn Garlic                                                        2tbspn Mustard seeds                                           1tbspn Red chillies                        

GOLI BAJE( a mangalorian recipe)

INGREDIENTS   Maida                                   1cup Besan                                   1teaspn Baking powder                     1/2teaspn Ginger                                  1/2teaspn Green chillies                         1-2nos Curry leaves                          1teaspn Asafoitida                              a pinch Salt                                       1/2teaspn Water                                    for mixing   Mix in all the ingredients together in a bowl to a not so thick and not so loose consistency and keep it aside for about 1hour. Heat oil in a pan Drop in  the mix into the hot oil by making small balls and deep fry them,untill it turns golden brown in colour and becomes crispy also. Serve this hot with some mint chutney.

BREAD PIZZA

Pizzas are always kids personal favourite.Now a variety of pizzas are available in the market and we generally depend on them on our hangouts.I came across the bread pizza through one of the blogs,i found it very interesting and made it the very same day as breads where already available at home.The first time when i made it it became a bit hard due to over heating,but the next time i made it was just perfect and all of us enjoyed having the pizza:) I had used brown bread for this recipe as i wanted it to  be more healthier.Here i have used the veggies, but you can alter it according to your personnel choices. Ingredients: Bread                             5-6slices Capsicum                       1/2cup Onions                           1/4cup Tomato                          1/2cup Pepper powder              1teaspn Oregano                         2tbspn Salt                                a pinch Tomato sauce                3/4cup Mustard sauce               1/2cup Chees

BREAD TOAST

Bread                             6-8slices Egg                                2nos Onions                          1 small Corriander leaves          1/2cup Mint leaves                    1/4cup Green chillies                 1 no Salt                                a pinch Pepper                           1teaspn Grind up all the ingredients together (except bread) and tranfer them to a bowl.Take each bread slice dip in  the mixture and keep it on a hot pan applied with ghee, and turn it over on each side.
