GOLI BAJE( a mangalorian recipe)
INGREDIENTS
Maida 1cup
Besan 1teaspn
Baking powder 1/2teaspn
Ginger 1/2teaspn
Green chillies 1-2nos
Curry leaves 1teaspn
Asafoitida a pinch
Salt 1/2teaspn
Water for mixing
- Mix in all the ingredients together in a bowl to a not so thick and not so loose consistency and keep it aside for about 1hour.
- Heat oil in a pan
- Drop in the mix into the hot oil by making small balls and deep fry them,untill it turns golden brown in colour and becomes crispy also.
- Serve this hot with some mint chutney.
