GOLI BAJE( a mangalorian recipe)


INGREDIENTS
 
Maida                                   1cup
Besan                                   1teaspn
Baking powder                     1/2teaspn
Ginger                                  1/2teaspn
Green chillies                         1-2nos
Curry leaves                          1teaspn
Asafoitida                              a pinch
Salt                                       1/2teaspn
Water                                    for mixing
 
  1. Mix in all the ingredients together in a bowl to a not so thick and not so loose consistency and keep it aside for about 1hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan
  3. Drop in  the mix into the hot oil by making small balls and deep fry them,untill it turns golden brown in colour and becomes crispy also.
  4. Serve this hot with some mint chutney.
