VATTEPPAM



  • Rice                                              1cup
  • Cooked rice                                 1/2cup
  • Grated coconut                             1/2cup
  • Yeast                                             1/4tbspn
  • Salt                                                as per taste
  • Sugar                                             as required
  • Roasted cashews and kismis          1/2cup
Wash and soak the rice for 3hrs and drain off.Now grind in the rice with grated coconut,cooked rice and sugar.Transfer this to a vessel, now mix it with salt  and yeast mixed in luke warm water.Set this aside and let it ferment overnight.Grease a flat pan with ghee and add in the fermented batter on it and decorate it with cashews and kismis. Keep this in a cooker  with some water beneath for about 20mins in a low flame.Once it gets cooled up open it and cut it into desired shapes.
