Potato Bonda
- Mashed Potatoes 2-3big
- Onions 1cup
- Ginger and garlic 1/2cup
- Green chillies 2-3nos
- Mustard seeds 1teaspn
- Turmeric powder 1/2teaspn
- Basen powder 2cups
- Rice powder 1cup
- Salt for taste
- Curry leaves and corriander leaves 1/2cup
Method
Heat oil in a pan add in the mustard seeds,onions,ginger garlic,green chiilies,curryleaves ,turmeric powder and salt and saute well.Add this to the mashed potatoes and mix well with necessary salt.
Mix besan and rice powder with salt to a smooth batter (not too loose nor tight).Make small balls with the potatoes and dip them in the batter and deep fry them in oil untill golden brown.
