CRAB MASALA
- Crab 1kg
- Onions 3-4nos
- Ginger ,garlic 2tbspn
- Curry leaves 1/2cup
- Cardamon 2nos
- Cinnamon 1stick
- Chicken masala 1tbspn
- Garam masala 1tbspn
- Corriander powder 11/2tbspn
- Chilli Powder 2tbspn
- Pepper powder 1teaspn
- Salt for taste
- Tomatoes 1big
- Oil 3tbspn
- Water for cooking
Heat a pan roast up all the masalas and take its half portion and marinate the cleaned up crab and set it aside. Now heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel and add in the onions,ginger & garlic,tomatoes and curry leaves and saute well.Once its done add in the balance masala mix to it and saute again.You may add in some water and mix well to form a paste. Then add in the crab and mix well untill all the masala gets coated on the crab.Add in salt,crushed spices and water and let it cook on a medium flame for about 15-20mins by stirring occationally. Once its done swith off the flame.This would be much tastier if we have it after a short time as only then the masalas would add more flavour for the crabs.
