CHAKKA VARUTHATHU(JACKFRUIT CHIPS)


  1. Jackfruit                                       1medium(raw)
  2. Turmeric powder                          1tspn
  3. Salt                                               1tbspn
  4. Water                                            3tbspn
  5. Oil                                                  for frying


Clean off the skin of the jackfruit and take out the fruit and discard the nuts and fine threads on the fruit.
Now chop the fruit to fine fingers and dunk them to the turmeric,salt and water mix.
Let the chips be coated up well. Then take few of them and drop in hot oil for frying.Remove them from oil when it turns crispy.
Now these chips are ready to be stored in boxes for days.
