GOLDEN FRIED BABYCORN
- Baby corn 20nos
- Maida 1cup
- Corn flour 1/2cup
- Curd 1tbspn
- Green chilli 2-3nos
- Ginger small piece
- Red chilli powder 1/4teaspn
- Baking soda A pinch
- Salt 1/2teaspn
- Oil for frying
Wash the babycorns and cut them to half. Sprinkle some salt over it and mix.Keep this for 10mins.
Grind together green chilli,ginger and curd to a fine paste. Transfer this to a large bowl , to this add in maida,corn flour,baking soda and salt .Whisk the batter well to a idli consistency with enough quantity of water.
Make sure there is no water on the babycorn; if yes strain off any excess water. Dip each cut baby corn in the prepared batter and deep fry them in oil turning either sides and until it turns golden brown in colour.
You may serve these baby corns with corriander chutney or tomato sauce.
