WHOLE WHEAT ALMOND COOKIES
- Wheat flour 1cup
- Sugar 1/2cup
- Unsalted butter 1/2cup
- Milk 2tbspn
- Cardamon powder 1/4teaspn
- Salt 1/4teaspn
- Chopped almonds 1/4cup
In a bowl mix together wheat flour,sugar,unsalted butter,cardamon powder and salt.When its well incorporated add in chopped almonds and milk and knead to a smooth dough.
Then take small portions of the dough and make small balls and slightly flatten them on your palms,with a thickness of about 1/2" and place each cookie on a greased cookie tray with a small distance between each cookie and decorate with a few almond slices.
Then preheat the oven to 180deg cel and place the cookie tray in it for about 17mins.After they become lightly brown and baked properly, let it rest for a few minutes and then transfer them to a box and serve as needed.
NOTE:
When the baking is done cookies will be very soft ,but once its cooled it will turn hard.
