ERACHI PUTTU

INGREDIENTS

  • Shredded chicken                                         250gms
  • Onions                                                          2nos
  • Ginger,garlic                                                1tbspn
  • Curry leaves                                                 1/2cup
  • Green chillies                                               2nos
  • Turmeric powder                                         1/2teaspn
  • Chilli powder                                               1tbspn
  • Coriander powder                                        1teaspn
  • Garam masala                                              1teaspn
  • Rice flour                                                     2-3cups
  • Salt                                                               for taste
Masala

Heat oil in a pan. Add in the onions ,ginger,garlic and green chillies and saute up well. Now add in the masalas and the chicken and fry them untill it gets cooked up.Finally add in the curry leaves .Get this masala to a dry form.

Puttu
Take in the rice flour and add in some salt and water and mix well,the mix shouldnt be too tight also. The water has to just wet the rice flour.

Now take the vessel for making the puttu and layer it with some kheema mix and above it with the rice flour and repeat it again untill the vessel is being filled up. Now steam this up for about 10mins and tap it up to  a plate without breaking it.
