NADAN FISH CURRY
INGREDIENTS
- Fish 1/2kg
- Shallots 11/2cups(finely chopped)
- Ginger 1teaspn
- Garlic 11/2teaspn
- Chilli powder 1teaspn
- Green chillies 3nos
- Turmeric powder 3/4teaspn
- Corriander powder 1/2teaspn
- Curry leaves 1/2cup
- Salt as required
- Mustard seeds 1tbspn
- Tamarind(kudam puli) 1small
- Methi seeds 1/4teaspn
- Oil 3tbspn
Heat oil in a pan and add in mustard seeds and methi seeds once it stoops popping add in ginger,garlic,curry leaves and saute well.Add in onion and saute well, now add in all masalas and saute well.Add in tomato and mix well. Add in some water and let it boil,once it gets boiled add in fish and let it cooked for a few minutes,then add in the tamarind and boil again.Once its done remove from fire and garnish with curry leaves and pour a little oil also this gives an extra flavour and serve it.
