MURUKKU

INGREDIENTS

Besan                            2 cups
Rice flour                      1cup
Red chilli powder          1/2teaspn
Jeera powder                1/2teaspn
Sesame seeds               1/2teaspn
Asafoetida                     a pinch
Salt                               1/2teaspn
Butter                            1/2teaspn
Water                             as required
Oil                                  for frying

METHOD

Mix in all the ingredients together in a bowl with water to a thick dough.
Now add in oil to a frying pan and drop the dough through the chakli  into the hot oil and reduce the flame for a few seconds and take them out when it turns crispy and drain it with tissue and store it in an air tight container.
