Mangoes being in season now,we keep trying a variety of recipes with mangoes.Being a keralite where in mangoes are available in plenty, i couldnt resist myself from trying a different dish with mangoes each day. One fine day i was just sitting and thinking what to experiment with mangoes today,then one of my dear friend suggested me with the idea of making an icecream.I wAS like woW let me go ahead as the summer heat was beating us very heavily and everyone back home would just enjoy having an icecream; and if its more natural and homemade we would love to feed our kids also. Puli inji is an inseparable side dish from a kerala sadya.Its infact a special kerala pickle.Being lightly sweet and sour it gives an extra taste for the meal.It is normally made on the previous day as its stand by taste is even more bett er.
